The project

Three commercial shells in raw construction.
The decision was to make them not look like apartments.

Argentina started with clear potential and a complicated handover state: an unfinished ground floor, an upper floor without installations, no identity and no apparent reason for anyone to want to live there. The commission was to turn them into housing. The architectural decision was more ambitious.

The artisanal concrete breeze-block screen is the heart of the project: not decoration, but structure, privacy and filtered light. The tall exposed-concrete walls and the domestic scale of the ensemble build an image no one would associate with a rental building. That reading is not accidental: it is the result of very precise decisions about proportion, texture and vegetation.

On the ground floor, two apartments with fully independent entrances. On the upper floor, one more designed from scratch with complete installations. The work included structure, plumbing and electrical, kitchens with polished concrete countertops, bathrooms, flooring and the artisanal breeze-block screen that defines the character of the ensemble.

A property that draws attention for the right reasons.

The facade

The breeze-block screen as identity

Artisanal concrete, domestic scale, overflowing greenery.
This is what it looks like when design does the work.
